Record Bar ‘analog’Music
The joy of listening on a finite medium in the era of infinite copies.
A high-quality music space has opened on the hills of Dogenzaka, Shibuya. The cross-over playlist consists of various genres from Showa-era Japanese pop songs to cutting edge Hip Hop tunes. According to the owner’s belief that good music should be hear in good sound quality, the selected audio system consists of an Altec-made vintage amp and speakers and the Gerrard 301 turntable that was created for UK’s BBC in the 1950s. The same music may sound nostalgic to some, while entirely new to others. Why not check out what’s spinning on your way to or back from the nightclubs? No matter what your taste is - Hikaru Utada, 90s r’n’b or indie rock - you will definitely make some enjoyable encounters.
