THE CINEMATIC ORCHESTRA JAPAN TOUR

Music

With the first new album in 12 years, “To Believe”, the long awaited Japan Tour is finally coming!

  • The Cinematic Orchestra (hereinafter, TCO) who, as their name suggests, play cinematic and epic soundscapes will release their first studio album in 12 years on March 15. They also announced that they will be embarking on a hall concert tour in April. The new material which digs deeper into the world created in the highly acclaimed previous album “Ma Fleur” (07) is a masterpiece that truly marks the apex of their 20 year long carrier. The dates for Japan are April 18 at the Sankei Hall Breeze in Osaka and April 19 at the Showa Women’s University Hitomi Memorial Hall in Tokyo. This will be their first hall concert tour (all seats reserved) in Japan. This will be their first appearance in 7 and a half years since their emotional closing performance at the 2012 edition of the SonarSound Tokyo, and, as a single-group concert, 11 years since 2008. Getting to see them live is pretty rare, and if you happen to be in Japan during these dates, you can consider yourself pretty lucky. Check out TCO who are known to have had a large impact on several next generation artists such as Floating Points, Kamasi Washington and BADBADNOTGOOD.
