KAKO-RYURYOKU at Hama-rikyu GardensMusic
Beautiful lighting and ambient music played by musicians fill a Japanese garden.
Red Bull’s urban music festival “Red Bull Music Festival Tokyo 2019” will be held from Monday, April 8 to Saturday, April 20. The details of the final day event on April 20 has just been announced.
The stage will be set at the Hama-rikyu Gardens, which is designated as a special place of scenic beauty and a special historic sight of Japan. The garden once belonged to the Tokugawa Shogun family when it served the purpose of a branch castle of the Edo castle during the Edo period. During the event, visitors can enjoy beautiful lighting and ambient music played by musicians simultaneously in the garden. The musicians that will play the music are Red Bull Music Academy graduates including INOYAMALAND who is a pioneer of ambient music in Japan. Other artists that will perform include Yosi Horikawa, Haioka, Kate NV, Nami Sato + Loradeniz, etc.
Getting to see the garden at night — when it is normally closed — is a special experience in itself. Don’t miss your chance to enjoy modern entertainment in the garden that used to be the playground for ancient warlords and nobles.
