The top-tier, wild and welcoming queer party invites an Italian legend at Contact ShibuyaMusic
Whatever your persuasion, you can find a comfortable space to express yourself on the dancefloor at Motorpool.
Contact’s flagship queer night brings together incredible music and inclusive attitudes like few other events in Tokyo.
For this edition, the Studio X floor will play host to the highly-respected Italian veteran Freddy K. These days Freddy is frequently associated with infamous Berlin queer dance Homopatik, where he’s famed for his marathon 10-16 hour-long sets. Swerving between years on the frontline touring the world as a DJ, and time spent behind the scenes supporting emergent talent and turning the cogs of the industry, Freddy is a truly dedicated evangelist for techno culture. So much so, his definition of techno reaches from the synth pop and industrial era right through to the most contemporary body music, all delivered with verve, passion, and impeccable timing.
For this Motorpool session, Freddy will be joined by the mighty DJ Nobu and DSKE. Meanwhile the Contact floor will be graced by the sounds of Moodman, the long-standing Japanese DJ who has recently been busy as creative director of the Cannes Lions prize-winning project Industrial JP.
