Kamakura-matsuri Festival in Yunishigawa-OnsenActivity
The winter-exclusive event “Kamakura-matsuri” festival will be held at Yunishigawa Onsen. You can enjoy playing in the snow while being surrounded by countless Kamakura (snow huts). There will also be an illumination event of the mini Kamakura at Sawaguchi Kasenjiki, which has been designated a night view heritage site in the world. ※Only the mini Kamakura at Sawaguchi Kasenjiki will be lit on the night of January 31st (Fri).
■Heike no Sato
・Admission Fee：Adult／510 yen, Child／250 yen (from 9:00 to 21:00)
・Night Ticket：Adult／300 yen, Child／200 yen (limited to 17:00 to 21:00)
At Heike no Sato, you will find giant Kamakura (snow huts) which you can enter and have a glimpse of their interior and have fun sledding at the Snow Plaza (ticket required).
As night falls, the mini Kamakura will be lit with candles to envelop the entire village in a warm magical glow.
■Mini Kamakura at Sawaguchi Kasenjiki
・Closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays of every week.
Designated as a “Japanese night view heritage site,” the hundreds of mini Kamakura here will have their candles lit during the illumination event.
■Yunishigawa Mizu no Sato Water Park
・Admission Fee：Adult/1,000 yen, Child/500 yen (including sledding expenses and the use of onsen at Mizu no Sato)
At Yunishigawa Mizu no Sato Water Park, you can enjoy sledding down a long snow slide and have a memorable experience of winter at the giant Kamakura.
