The announcement of Pikachu's huge outbreak event schedule released.
This year, which marks the sixth year of this event, The Pokémon Company and City of Yokohama will be hosting nightly Pikachu performances created with technology and the beautiful nightscape of Minato Mirai.

  • The Pokémon Company is pleased to announce Pikachu Outbreak!

    2019, held from Tuesday, August 6 to Monday (public holiday), August 12, 2019 in the Minato Mirai area of Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture.

    Over 2,000 Pikachu, the most ever, will be appearing all over the Minato Mirai area this year as well.

  • This Year's Content

    1.Pikachu Team Performance Using the Latest LED Technology

    Pikachu will give a performance of light in front of the Yokohama Museum of Art using the latest technology, such as LED costumes and props.
    Pikachu decorated in LED will perform in conjunction with projection mapping over the entire Yokohama Museum of Art.

    2. Pikachu Team Performance Using an Enormous Water Fountain

    A performance that combines Pikachu with an enormous fountain, set against the nightscape of Yokohama Bay Bridge, will be hosted in Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse Park.

    3. Pikachu Epidemic

    The largest performance of Pikachu in history, with a total of 50 Pikachu, will be held in Rinko Park. Enjoy a splendid performance from these Pikachu.
