ActivityAccess from Tokyo is easy. Head to Oi Racecourse on a weekend night!
Launched in 2018 with Oi Racecourse as its stage, TOKYO MEGA ILLUMINATION uses the latest technology to express the original landscape of TOKYO from the Edo period onward, along with the past, present, and future of the city.
This season, the second year of the event, will feature added new productions and a significantly greater scale.
To let more people easily enjoy the event, this year's price has been significantly revised to a more affordable level.■ THE GENFUKEI
The production takes rice paddies, the pastoral scenery said to be the heart of Japan, as its theme. On an unparalleled vast scale, the production presents the original scenery of Japan and of the Japanese heart, using beautiful illumination.■ Edo Cherry Blossom Tunnel
This 100-meter tunnel of light is filled with cherry blossoms. It promises a thrill that will have visitors catch their breath amid the light. Enjoy a walk, set to wonderful music, amid the colorful lights of Japan's four seasons, and feel the cherry blossoms – the world-renowned SAKURA – that conveys the heart of Japan.■ A giant fountain of light, shining in rainbow colors
Enjoy a beautiful fountain show that unfolds on an overwhelming scale. Pillars of water, dancing as if imbued with life, are dyed with rich lighting.
* The production may be canceled due to wind or weather conditions.
Other areas are also available for visitors. Whether with family, friends, a lover, or anyone, you're sure to enjoy the show!
