Nihonichi no Kushikatsu Yokozuna Shinseikai Main Building
日本一の串かつ 横綱 新世界本館Japan’s No.1 Kushi katsu (fried pork skewers) Yokozuna Shinseikai Main Shop near the tourist attraction, Tsutenkaku Tower is a specialty kushikatsu (grilled skewer) restaurant. A gigantic statue of a Biliken god with a total height of four meters standing in front of the restaurant is a landmark. There are both counter and table seating on the first floor and a Japanese style floor on the second floor so it is convenient to relax and enjoy kushikatsu in groups as well as a banquet with many people. The famous kushikatsu is bigger than the standard size and hearty. A tabehodai (all you can eat) course with unlimited kushikatsu with about 30 choices such as beef, pork and prawn is popular. At the banquet, Chanko Nabe (a sumo wrestlers’ stew) using an exclusive stock is also popular. The closest stations are Dobutsuen-mae Station and Shin-Imamiya Station.
