Kamogawa River

鴨川

This river flows about 23 kilometers through Kyoto City. In spring and summer, restaurants along its west bank open a riverside dining area called the Noryo-yuka which is a sign of the season in Kyoto. The river's a well-known walking course, and it's a popular spot with locals and tourists alike for a relaxing stroll.
